The middle class is the topic of the day. Our papers and leaders are most eloquent in discussing their condition and devising means and ways of improving their lot.

Sheela was a mainstay of such a family which consisted of her husband Gurucharan, a child and a sister-in-law named Nalini. Sheela was managing her home affairs in such a way as to make it look as if it was a family belonging to the higher strata. To all appearances the things looked rosy. What volcano of lack of money was burning underneath, only her husband and she knew.

But things could not be hidden for long from Nalini's keen eyes. She decided to lend a helping hand. She joined an office as a Secretary. The Boss was Chetan, the only son of a millionaire. Chetan was attracted towards her.
Nalini had become cynic because of the circumstances in which she found herself. The cynicism had developed into hatred of all the well-to-do and rich.

So she found a ware waging in her heart - between hatred and love ! How could she who had suffered much at the hands of the rich allow herself to be aligned with the rich marriage? Which did succeed  - Prejudice or love ?

The Silver Screen will provide the answer.
